Penn Yan teen sent to Strong Memorial Hospital after Milo crash
A Penn Yan teen was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital after an accident in the Town of Milo on Wednesday. The accident happened on Baker Road when 18-year-old Benedict Demoras went off the road and down an embankment. Penn Yan Ambulance transported the driver to Strong Memorial Hospital, according to first responders. No tickets were issued by law enforcement. more

Fire destroyed the studio of a well-known sculptor Wednesday morning. Yates County Sheriff Ron Spike deemed the Baker Road workspace of Dexter Benedict a total loss.
