Police: Brutus man hit person with laptop and coffee mug

A Brutus man is facing a felony charge after he allegedly struck a person with a coffee mug and a laptop computer. New York State Police arrested Eduardo L. Supervisor: Montezuma highway superintendent ‘double dipping’ in Brutus

The supervisor for the town of Montezuma has announced a public meeting to address the highway superintendent’s position. Dennis Lapp Jr., 25, was elected as the highway superintendent in Montezuma in 2015. A registered Republican, Lapp earned roughly $8,300 as superintendent in 2016. Brutus officials pass resolution to construct Trolley Connection Trail in Cayuga County

Officials in the town of Brutus have passed a resolution to begin funding the Trolley Connection Trail in Cayuga County. 25-year-old charged with disseminating indecent materials to 12-year-old Cayuga County child

Sheriff David Gould reports that last Thursday, the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation into an allegation that an adult male from Syracuse had been engaging in inappropriate online contact with a 12-year-old child from Cayuga County. UPDATE: Auburn woman ID’d as victim in fatal crash on SR 34

New York State Police have identified the 57-year-old Auburn woman who was killed in the fatal crash on State Route 34 in Sennett last week. Police: Children facing felony charges for putting large rocks in Brutus road

Three Weedsport children between the ages of 11 and 14 are facing felony charges for allegedly putting large rocks in a road that damaged multiple vehicles.
