Deputies say they were called to a garage fire at 6872 South Gannett Hill Road in the Town of South Bristol after a passerby called the blaze in to authorities. On Wednesday, the City of Canandaigua Police Department charged Monique E. Barrette-Lewis, age 34 of 188 North Main Street in Naples, with grand larceny in the fourth degree and identity theft in the first degree, felonies.Barrette-Lewis is accused of stealing $1,452 from an 84-year-old female who had employed Barrette-Lewis as a home care worker.
