The Marcus Whitman Wildcats won their 15th straight game on Thursday night, dispatching with South Seneca, 69-40. Riley McLoud and Nick Young scored 16 points each while Burlin Allen dished out 11 assists. It was Allen’s second 11 assist game of the season for the Finger Lakes West Champion Wildcats. Outside of Whitman’s dominance this season, the Finger Lakes West has been completely unpredictable. The Honeoye Bulldogs had won five straight before losing to Romulus by 15 and Naples, who had won four in a row, fell to Red Jacket by 13.
The headline from W-FL girls action on Thursday night came in Williamson where Red Creek’s Alex Mosqueda scored 30 big points in another Rams win. Red Creek currently trails league-leader Gananda by 1.5 games in the Wayne County standings.
