Athlete of Week: HAC’s Paisley late bloomer in basketball

If you added Jamarr Paisley’s scoring averages for his first two seasons as a starter on varsity the sum would be less than 10 points.

The Harley-Allendale Columbia senior guard scored 15 points in the Wolves’ opener this season, and his scoring average has risen each game — sitting now at 18.5 points per. Paisley, a slight 140 pounds with a 5-foot-10-inch frame, has scored 20 or more points five times, largely by knifing through the paint on dribble drives and occasionally venturing outside for a 3-pointer.
