Heavy lake effect snow in Wayne County turned a heavy slate of action into a light schedule of Wayne-Finger Lakes games on Friday night. Midlakes continued their resurgence with a key win along with Penn Yan as the two Finger Lakes East schools position for seeding in Class B Sectionals. In girls action, the Penn Yan girls picked up a convincing win over Geneva, Midlakes topped Waterloo and the South Seneca Lady Falcons continued to roll towards the postseason.
