Ontario County Sheriff Phil Povero says that conditions are worsening in his county.
A Travel Advisory has been issued by Povero until 10 pm. Povero extended the No Unnecessary Travel Advisory active in the county, which will remain until 5 am on Thursday.
He says that motorists should use extreme caution on the roadways, especially as those individuals who have been at work today — attempt to make it home this evening.
The Ontario County 911 Center has reported to 30 highway incidents since midnight, which includes 13 reports of vehicles into a ditch, two rollovers, four crashes with injuries and 11 property damage accidents.
Extra patrol units are out around the County and will be monitoring the changing weather over the next several hours.
