Deputies in Ontario County say a Naples man was uninjured after he crashed his vehicle down a 40 foot embankment on County Road 12.
The accident happened on Saturday around 8:42 pm and the driver, identified as John Bruce Rodger, 47, of Naples was found to be intoxicated after crews responded to the scene.
Deputies located a heavily damaged pickup truck that had been driven on the wrong side of the eastern guard rail on County Road 12 and driven down a 40 foot embankment. An investigation determined that Rodger had been driving while intoxicated and was charged with driving while intoxicated, as well as aggravated driving while intoxicated.
His blood-alcohol content was found to be over .18 percent.
The charges will be answered at a later date in Naples Town Court.
