Clifton Springs YMCA to hold basketball tournament
Clifton Springs YMCA will hold a three-on-three basketball tournament on June 2. The seeded tournament will include high school, junior high and elementary divisions for boys and girls. Teams will be seeded by record after the second game, followed by double elimination with a three-game minimum.Registration costs $15 per player. Signups are required by May 20. A Clifton Springs teen was arrested on an assault charge after a fight with another juvenile female in the Phelps-Clifton Springs area. Deputies say that Amber Lynn West, 16, of Clifton Springs was charged with third-degree assault after causing physical injuries to an unidentified female victim.
