The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Welfare Fraud Unit reports the arrest of a Palmyra woman following an investigation initiated by Wayne County Department of Social Services. Melissa R. Hopseker, 28, of Palmyra was charged with third-degree grand larceny, third-degree walfare fraud and offering a false instrument for filing. Palmyra man arrested after domestic incident on New Years Day
A 35-year-old Palmyra man was arrested following a domestic incident on New Years Day. According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, Richard Anaya, 35, of Palmyra was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. The charges stem from an incident where Anaya allegedly grabbed another person by the hair and intentionally damaged property belonging to that individual. Additional details... more
