On April 22nd at approximately 8:58 p.m. investigators arrested a 27-year-old Waterloo man on attempted assault and menacing charges after a heated dispute with his roommate. Sheriff Tim Luce says that Jon C. Lamere, 27, was charged with first-degree attempted assault and second-degree menacing. A 38-year-old Waterloo woman was arrested by police after a controlled substance was found in her possession. Jennifer N. Waldron, 38, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, possessing a controlled substance outside of a prescription bottle and unlawful possession of marijuana. Police: Ovid woman left threatening voice message
On April 11th the Waterloo Police Department arrested an Ovid woman following an incident involving a threatening voicemail. Danielle L. Russ, of Ovid is accused of leaving a threatening voicemail message on another female’s phone. She was charged with aggravated harassment, and arraigned in Waterloo Village Court.
