DELAYED: Harassment case involving supervisor postponed to May 2nd

State Police say Seneca Falls Town Supervisor Greg Lazzaro has been charged with a harassment violation following an incident last year.

State Police filed the charge on March 29th in connection with the incident. The charge filed against Lazzaro was second-degree harassment, according to state police.

The incident took place on December 7th, 2017. Lazzaro is accused of striking a family member’s hand in an attempt to knock a cellphone loose. According to state police, that happened at Lazzaro’s residence in Seneca Falls.

Lazzaro was issued an appearance ticket for March 25th, but the incident was reported as being on the docket for Wednesday night’s Waterloo Village Court.

However, the case was postponed again to May 2nd at 5 p.m., according the Finger Lakes Times.
