Seneca Falls Police Wednesday released the name of the man found dead Monday in the Seneca Falls VFW. The body of 50-year old James Pickett of Brockport was found just inside the rea door of the bar. Police say Pickett suffered a heart attack while trying to break-into the building.   more

Former Mynderse Academy teacher Ray Winthrop passed away early Monday morning after an extended illness.Winthrop taught several generations of Mynderse Academy math students from the early 1950’s until his retirement in the late 1980’s. Calling hours have not been announced at this time.   more
