Man arrested for robberies at two banks in Ithaca

A 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection to robberies at two banks in Ithaca in recent weeks. According to Ithaca Police, Chaio Slater, 32, of Ithaca, is facing charges for robberies at the Cornell Federal Credit Union and Tompkins County Trust Company. Bicyclist hit by City of Ithaca truck at Ithaca intersection

A bicyclist was hit by a City of Ithaca truck at an intersection Thursday morning, police said. The crash happened at the intersection of Third and Madison streets, Sgt.
