Blues Traveler booked for Ithaca concern in January

Whether you’re “Rin Tin Tin or Anne Boleyn,” Blues Traveler fans can see the “Hook” hitmakers when they return this month to Central New York.

Blues Traveler, formed in 1988 in New York City, celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, with a tour stop at Ithaca’s State Theatre on Sunday, Jan. 28 at 8 pm.

Doors open at 7 p.m. Ticket prices range from $28.50 to $38.50 on stateofithaca.org. The Nashville-based Los Colognes will open the show.

The blues-rock band returns often to Upstate New York. Blues Traveler headlined Taste of Syracuse back in 2014 and co-headlined the Oswego Harborfest with Dennis DeYoung in 2016. They also played at Turning Stone Resort Casino last September.
