DEC: Raw sewage leaking into canal in Seneca Falls

The DEC says that 10 gallons of raw sewage per minute have been spilling into the Cayuga-Seneca Canal throughout the day on Thursday. According to an alert issued by the state, it’s not clear how long the sewage has been leaking into the Cayuga and Seneca Canal, but crews were working Thursday morning to dig up and repair the break.... more
