Police say a 58-year-old Waterloo man was arrested in Seneca Falls after leaving a dog inside his vehicle during extreme heat.
Steven L. Hollenbeck, 58, of Waterloo was charged with leaving a companion animal in a vehicle.
The charge stems from a complaint, in which a dog was left inside a vehicle on June 17th. Police say it was extremely hot that day.
He was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charge at a later date.
