A Greece man has been found guilty of rape charges in Ontario County. 29 year old James Comfort was found guilty after about six hours deliberation by an Ontario County jury for incidents in Victor and Farmington in 2002. The Lyons School Board is expected to approve a budget at its April 20th meeting that will increase taxes five and half percent. The board had feared a double digit increase when it began work on the spending plan. Several Seneca County Fire Department were called out around 3 this morning to the former Seneca Army Depot. Building 341- a warehouse building- was engulfed in flames when crews from Varick, Romulus and Fayette arrived. The roof of the building collapsed. No word yet on the cause of the fire or what was inside that building.   more

It’s wine for today’s busy lifestyle. Almaden Vineyards, which is owned by Canandaigua Wine, says its new Red Sangria will come in a pull tab carton.
