The slow down of traffic continues on River Road between Seneca Falls and Waterloo. Over the past couple of years the speed limit has been reduced to 45 mph and the passing lanes have been eliminated, now the State Department of Transportation is taking another step to slow traffic on the road that parallels Routes 5 & 20. On March 28th the intersection of River Road and the Water-Falls bridge will be come an All-Way Stop. Currently traffic on River Road does not stop at the intersection. The DOT this week installed large warning signs to inform drivers about the change. Covered “Stop Signs” are now in place and will be uncovered on March 28th.
