It’s wine for today’s busy lifestyle. Almaden Vineyards, which is owned by Canandaigua Wine, says its new Red Sangria will come in a pull tab carton. An Almaden spokesperson says each carton contains the equivalent of two and a half glasses of wine, but she says busy people can drink right from the container. Canandaigua Wine officials say they’re beginning to target the on the go demographic. The new product will begin appearing on shelves in the near future.
