Kuhl Announces Congressional Campaign

=————————-[w:THUkuhlannounce2.wav] :04=————————-State Senator Randy Kuhl on the Finger Lakes Morning News this morning announcing that he’s seeking the Congressional seat being vacated by Amo Houghton. Kuhl is touring the district today to launch his campaign. He says he has not yet spoken with Houghton about his candidacy.=————————-[w:THUKuhl Houghton.wav] :09=————————-Houghton announced this week that he’s stepping down after 18 years in the House. He has not said who, if anyone, he’ll endorse to succeed him. Rochester businessman Bill Nojay announced his candidacy yesterday. Also in the race are Monroe County legislator Mark Assini and investment banker Geoff Rosenberger. Assemblyman Brian Kolb says he’ll announce his intentions within the next few days.
