Crews from Cayuga, Onondaga respond to mobile home fire in Brutus

It took fire crews from two counties to tend to a mobile home fire in Brutus on Wednesday. According to first responders, the call came in around 2:30 pm. Weedsport school district secures funding for prekindergarten program

The Weedsport Central School District is set to get state funding for its prekindergarten services, Gov. Andrew Cuomo's office announced Wednesday. Weedsport, which will receive $126,432, is one of 16 school districts approved for funding, according to a press release.
