A popular Brooklyn brewery announced Tuesday that it has purchased an Ontario County facility and will open a second location there.
According to the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle, Other Half Brewing has purchased the former Nedloh Brewing Co. in East Bloomfield for $660,000. The Brooklyn brewery will invest $1.8 million into upgrading the two-story facility and building two more, one focused on wild (sour) and barrel-aged beers and the other an event space. The expansion, which is expected to create up to 35 jobs over the next five years, is being supported by $400,000 in performance-based Excelsior Tax Credits from Empire State Development.
