On February 12th at approximately 10:45 p.m. officers of the Canandaigua Police Department, with the assistance of the Ontario County Sheriff’s Department, arrested a 54-year-old Canandaigua resident following a drug investigation.
Michael Ventra, of Canandaigua, was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
It’s alleged that he sold crack cocaine on multiple occasions while in Canandaigua. The arrest of Ventra is the result of an extensive co-investigation conducted by the Canandaigua City Police Department and the Ontario County Sheriff’s Department regarding, the sale and distribution of crack cocaine throughout Ontario County.
Additional charges are pending, according to police. Ventra was held in the Ontario County Jail without bail.
He will appear in Canandaigua City Court on February 13th, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. for arraignment.
