Canandaigua woman transported to Strong after vehicle collides with tree

Deputies in Ontario County say that a 37-year-old Canandaigua woman was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital after she swerved to avoid a deer on Wabash Road in the Town of Seneca.

Deputies say that Sabrina A. Coleman, of Canandaigua, was traveling north on Wabash Road when she swerved to avoid a deer — losing control of her vehicle. The vehicle then struck a large tree, which caused significant damage to the vehicle.

Coleman suffered a broken leg and an injury to her left shoulder. She was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital by Stanley Hall Gorham Ambulance. Hall Fire Department was also on scene as well.

Deputies say that Coleman was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, and no tickets were issued.
