Canandaigua man charged with felony DWI; had BAC of .21, previous DWI conviction

The Canandaigua Police Department reports that a 27-year-old city resident was charged after he was found to be driving while intoxicated.

Officers arrested Corey Bleier, 27, of Canandaigua for felony driving while intoxicated, felony aggravated driving while intoxicated, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree. He was also charged with moving from a lane unsafely.

He is accused of failing to maintain a lane, and upon investigation — he was found to be driving while intoxicated. His blood-alcohol content was .21, according to police.

Bleier had a previous driving while intoxicated conviction, as well as an active suspension, which led to the driving while intoxicated charges being felony-level.

He will answer the charges in Canandaigua City Court.
