Ontario County Police Blotter: Dec. 20-24

A series of arrests were made in Ontario County in the days leading up to Christmas.

Gail Rochelle Wilson, 50, of Rochester as arrested for petit larceny after she was found to have passed all points of purchase at Walmart in Canandaigua with a shopping cart containing $318.18 worth of toys, home goods and consumables. Wilson was taken into custody by the Ontario County Sheriff’s without incident and was released with appearance tickets. The charges will be answered in Hopewell Town Court at a later date.

Maureen Anne McCollum, 33, of Geneva was arrested by deputies for petit larceny after she allegedly stole a prescription medication from a patient at the Ontario County ARC. She was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charge in Geneva Town Court at a later date.

Greg George Snyder, 52, of Rochester was arrested for second-degree criminal contempt after he allegedly violated a stay away order of protection, which was issued in Rochester City Court. He is accused of communicating with a protected party via electronic device. He was arraigned in West Bloomfield Court and released on his own recognizance. The charges will be answered at a later date.

Scott Michael Vickey, 36, of no permanent address was arrested at the Canandaigua Walmart on the charge of ‘aggravated family offense.’ Vickey is accused of having contact with a victim in violation of an order of protection. He was transported to the Ontario County jail where deputies say he is being held currently. The charges will be answered in Canandaigua City Court at a later date.

Chrysanne L. Taylor, 30, of Rochester was arrested by deputies at the Eastview Mall after an employee theft. Taylor is accused of falsifying business records in the first degree and will answer the charge in Victor Town Court at a later date.

Katy A. Garfinkel, 28, of Penfield was arrested for petit larceny after she allegedly stole $491 worth of merchandise from Von Maur located at Eastview Mall. She will answer the charges in Victor Town Court at a later date.
