Police: Lyons woman stole $4,700 in federal, state tax refunds

New York State Police say that a Lyons woman was arrested on multiple charges after she allegedly stole federal and state tax refunds totaling more than $4,000.

Police arrested Krystal L. Fields, 24, of Lyons and charged her with first-degree identity theft, third-degree grand larceny, as well as fourth-degree grand larceny.

Police say she stole state and federal tax refunds totaling $4,744.

Fields was arraigned in Lyons Town Court and remanded to the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail. Her next court action is scheduled for Lyons Town Court on December 22nd.
