The undefeated, Wayne County league-leading East Rochester Bombers saw their six-game winning stream come to an end on Wednesday night in Sodus as the Spartans pulled the early-season upset, 56-50. In the line Wayne-Finger Lakes boys varsity basketball game played on Friday night, the #6 Wayne Eagles easily defeated the Sodus Spartans, 60-35, in a FL East-Wayne County cross-over game played in Ontario. Friday was a banner day for Wayne-Finger Lakes boys basketball two of the top area teams headed west to compete in the I-90 Holiday Showcase in Buffalo and came home with impressive wins.
