In the line Wayne-Finger Lakes boys varsity basketball game played on Friday night, the #6 Wayne Eagles easily defeated the Sodus Spartans, 60-35, in a FL East-Wayne County cross-over game played in Ontario. Braeeden Zenelovic led all scorers with 16 points and 9 rebounds while teammates Logan Blankenberg and Nick Carmichael scored 14 each. Carmichael also hauled in 9 rebounds for the Eagles who improve to 4-2 heading into Christmas break. The Spartans were led by Jake Parker who scored 9. Sodus had won three straight heading into the game.

#1 South Seneca handled #6 Bloomfield 61-46 at Bloomfield High School. Three Lady Falcons scored in double-digits. Mackenzie Kenyon was high scorer with 17, Kelsey Smith scored 16, and Emily Larvanway had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Bailey Minges also pulled down 10 rebounds and Skylar Shaulis dished out 4 assists to go with her 9 points as Heather Mott’s South Seneca squad stays undefeated in league play. Jessie Sheehan led the way for the Lady Bombers with 16 points.
The #4 Romulus Lady Warriors hosted Naples and head into Christmas weekend with a convincing 59-31 win over the Big Green.
