Sheriff: Newark residents provided false information during Tyre accident investigation
Deputies say a Newark duo was charged with falsely reporting an incident after an accident at the intersection of State Routes 414 and 318 late-last month. Sacha Santana, 32, and Richard Barnes, 34, were each charged with one count of third-degree falsely reporting an incident. Sheriff: Endicott man accused of damaging car at Tyre casino
Seneca County Sheriff Tim Luce reports the arrest of an Endicott man at the del Lago Resort & Casino following an incident involving a vehicle. Investigators arrested Joseph J. Wahl, 76, of Endicott on the charge of third-degree criminal mischief after intentionally damaging a vehicle at the casino. Wahl was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Tyre Town Court. more

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on January 27th at approximately 8:30 pm deputies arrested a 43-year-old Ovid resident for impersonating a police officer. Allan L.
