The Trumansburg man accused of raping an underage co-worker at Waterloo Premium Outlets last year pleaded not guilty to numerous felony charges during his arraignment Tuesday in Seneca County Court.
Jesse M. Farina-Geiger, 24, was arraigned on one count of first-degree rape and five counts of third-degree rape, as well as a misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a child.
The first-degree rape charge, a class B felony, is punishable by up to 25 years in prison.
Farina-Geiger was arrested last August following an investigation by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office criminal investigations division. Police said while he was on the management team of a store at the outlet center in Junius, Farina-Geiger had sexual intercourse with a subordinate employee on multiple dates.
Investigators said some of the intercourse involved forcible compulsion and happened at the business while both were working. The alleged victim in the case was a 16-year-old female.
