Just over 11 months ago, the Mynderse Blue Devils and Newark Reds squared off in the Section V Class B Championship Game at the Blue Cross Arena. Mynderse won that game and also won the rematch in Newark in early December. Newark had won the Class B title in 2016 with a win over Pal-Mac giving the Finger Lakes East a virtual strangle hold on the Class B finals for the past two years. On Friday night, Newark and Mynderse will renew their rivalry again in Seneca Falls with both teams currently riding a 2-game losing streak.
