Deputies in Seneca County say that a 30-year-old Seneca Falls man was arrested on multiple charges following an investigation into a domestic dispute.
According to investigators, deputies were dispatched to the report of a domestic disturbance in progress at a residence on Route 96 in Waterloo.
Once there, those deputies arrested 30-year-old Steven T. Grillone. Deputies say he left the scene of the incident after strangling a 35-year-old female, who was not identified, but said to be a Seneca Falls resident to the point of unconsciousness.
During the incident, deputies say that Grillone also broke multiple items while six children under 12-years-old were home.
He was charged with two counts of second-degree strangulation, harassment, two counts of criminal mischief, six counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and criminal contempt. The strangulation charge is a Class D felony, according to investigators.
Grillone was arraigned in Tyre Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 secured bond.
