Auburn man graduates from New York State Police Academy

An Auburn man is one of more than 200 graduates from the New York State Police Academy, according to a release from Gov. Andrew Cuomo. Brian Hooper brought his lucky fork to help him eat 35 pierogies and win the men’s division of the Ukrainian National Club’s eighth-annual pierogi eating contest Saturday afternoon.
