The Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that it will be co-hosting its next Member Milestone Celebration on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. The event will include an Open House and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to honor the official Grand Reopening of Geneva Fit Club, located at 28 Seneca Street in downtown Geneva.
Formerly Accelerated Fitness, new owners Don and Patti Scalise recently purchased the business, and have made gradual changes to the facility, including the new name change. The facility features cardio equipment, free weights and workout machines on the first floor, as well as a 800-plus square foot back room. The second floor includes locker rooms with showers that are accessible by elevator. In addition, the Scalises are looking to make updates to expand on their exercise classes. They currently offer cycling, strength, cardio, and Zumba classes, along with personal training.
The Grand Reopening event will take place from 3-5:00 p.m., and will feature raffles for gym memberships, tours of the facility, and will provide guests the opportunity to meet the new owners. This event will also include a presentation by Chamber staff and an official photo op at 4:00 p.m. There is no charge to attend, and the public is welcome.
