Deputies arrested an Ontario man after an investigation, which followed a traffic stop on Route 21 in Manchester.
Josiah E. Shales, 23, was arrested and charged with seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance. The arrest came after a traffic stop for speeding, according to deputies. There was also an active bench warrant for his arrest in Irondequoit.
He was issued appearance tickets and will answer the charges at a later date.
