A Lyons man faces grand larceny charges after deputies said he stole over a ton of car batteries from a Palmyra business.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s office said Frederick Paige, 35, took the batteries from a business on Route 31 and sold them to a scrap yard.
Deputies said Paige was with a 13-year-old child at the time of the crime.
Paige was issued an appearance ticket for 4th degree grand larceny and endangering the welfare of a child.
