The Newark Community Garden, joint project of Newark Rotary, Foodlink, Catholic Charities and the Newark School District, has survived this summer’s hot weather and is offering up numerous varieties of vegetables for the families that adopted plots. The garden is located adjacent to Perkins Park and the C.H. Perkins Elementary School.
