Auburn sent the game to extra innings, but Lowell had its best inning of the day in the 10th.
The Spinners batted around and plated three runs on four hits to top the Doubledays, 8-5, at Falcon Park Friday. With the win, Lowell sweeps the three-game series.
The Doubledays loaded the bases in both the seventh and eighth, but only pushed across three runs and left five stranded. Auburn finished the game 4-for-19 with runners in scoring position and left 13 runners on base.
