The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of an Ontario man following a disturbance in the Town of Ontario.
Deputies arrested Alexander J. Doty, 25, for Assault in the Third Degree and Resisting Arrest.
It is alleged that Doty was involved in a domestic incident with his girlfriend. He then punched a neighbor who was attempting to assist the female.
Doty resisted arrest by police officers on scene, according to deputies.
He was arraigned in the Town of Ontario Court and remanded to the Wayne County Jail on bail.
He is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Ontario Court at a later date and time to answer the charges.
