GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY: Seneca Falls Elks Lodge gives $1,500 to Safe Harbors

Safe Harbors of the Finger Lakes is dedicated to helping the community.

The Seneca Falls Elks Lodge presented a $1,500 check to Safe Harbors of the Finger Lakes.

“It’s always great to give back to the community like this,” said Warren Fredrickson, Past Exalted Ruler of the lodge. “We’re always looking for new opportunities to do our part. The community is better because of organizations like Safe Harbors.”

Exalted Ruler Brandon Bond echoed the sentiments, pointing out that there aren’t as many community organizations like the Elks that can give back. “It feels good to be part of this kind of organization. It’s a great group of people who care a great deal about the community,” he added. “Safe Harbors provides a service to the region that is invaluable. Any way we can help an organization like theirs work to make Seneca County better worthwhile.”

Safe Harbors of the Finger Lakes, Inc. provides services, at no charge, for individuals, children, and families who have experienced sexual assault, sexual abuse, and interpersonal violence in Ontario, Seneca, and Yates Counties.
