On March 1st at approximately 2:45 p.m. officer arrested a 32-year-old Rochester man for possessing a weapon during an incident that took place on May 13th, 2017.
Sharon S. Thomas, of Rochester was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree obstructing governmental administration.
It is alleged that Thomas possessed a firearm illegally in the City of Canandaigua last year during an incident. The arrest stems from a co-investigation conducted by the Canandaigua Police Department, New York State Police, and Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Thomas was arraigned and remanded to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
