Cato-Meridian school board member resigns from Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES board

A Cato-Meridian Central School District Board of Education member stepped down from her spot on the Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES Board of Education after discovering she had a potential conflict on interest.

The BOCES board accepted a letter of resignation from Kathleen Bratt on Feb. 15. The Cato-Meridian board accepted Bratt’s resignation at a board meeting Monday. Every member on the BOCES board represents a different component district. Bratt has been with the Cato-Meridian board since 2002 and took the Cato-Meridian spot on the BOCES board last year, replacing L. Lee Epprecht, who resigned from the Cato-Meridian board and the BOCES board. Bratt will continue to serve with the Cato-Meridian board.
