On Tuesday at approximately 3:45 p.m. officers arrested a 24-year-old Farmington woman after creating a GoFundMe account under the guise of rasiing money to provide an individual with a new motorized scooter.
Jordan E. Fogg, of Farmington was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny.
It is alleged that in August 2017, Fogg opened a GoFundMe account and raised more than $1,200 for the individual named in the campaign. After the money was raised, she failed to turn it over to that person.
Fogg was released on an appearance ticket to report to the Canandaigua City court at a later date.
