Canandaigua PD: Driver had 23 baggies of crack cocaine during traffic stop

On February 3rd at approximately 8:49 p.m., officers of the Canandaigua Police Department, conducted a traffic stop on North Main Street for speeding, which resulted in an arrest — and a felony drug charge.

After investigation the driver of the vehicle, identified as 34-year-old Nancy Lopez, of Rochester was found to be in possession of marijuana and approximately 23 baggies of crack cocaine.



Lopez was subsequently charged with speed in zone, unlawful possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree.

Lopez was processed at the station and then transported to the Ontario County Jail without bail.
