LifeNet was called to the scene of a two-car crash, which happened at Rt. 96 and County Rd. 6 around 3:30 pm.
First responders say that Geneva Fire Department set up a landing zone at Exit 42 of the New York State Thruway. However LifeNet was unable to transport.
Rt. 96 was shutdown and within moments of authorities arriving on-scene the extrication of the most seriously injured patient was complete.
The patient was transported by ground to a hospital in Rochester.
