A Webster teacher who was arrested after police say he recorded two students changing in a bathroom has pleaded guilty.
Terrance Hoctor, 44 of Webster, pleaded guilty to unlawful surveillance on Thursday. He was originally charged with two counts of unlawful surveillance and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Police say they were alerted on March 4 about an incident that happened at the State Road Elementary School. According to police, an allegation was made that a teacher recorded two female students with his cell phone while they were changing in the school bathroom.
Hoctor had been teaching fourth grade at State Road Elementary School since 2006. He is facing six months in jail and five years’ probation. Hoctor will also forfeit his teaching license and register as a sex offender.
