The end of this work week, right as September begins, will feature some of the coldest weather the region has seen since spring.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and even most of Thursday will be comfortable. Temperatures for Tuesday and Wednesday will reach into the mid-70s. For many that is the happy-medium between “too cool” and “too warm.”
Thursday will be the change day, as temperatures sit in the upper-60s to around 70. A chance of showers will exist on this day, as a cold front drops south, according to FLX Weather Meteorologist Drew Montreuil.
After that, temperatures will struggle to get above 60 degrees on Friday.
The first official day of September will feature temperatures more-likely seen in early-October.
The colder-than-usual weather will be shortlived, though. Temperatures are expected to moderate throughout the weekend.
