Cornell Cooperative Extension adds 4-H STEM educator

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Cayuga County has announced the hiring of Emma Foster as its new 4-H program youth development educator.


Foster, a graduate of SUNY Morrisville, will focus on science, technology, engineering and math education. She completed a 15-week spring internship with the extension, developing a curriculum for an animal quality assurance program for youth and updating an earlier curriculum on rural barns. She is also certified to deliver agriculture in the classroom lessons at local schools, as well as after-school 4-H STEM programs.
